About Rae's Flame

Welcome to Rae's Flame—a small business built on faith, family, and the dream of creating something meaningful.

My name is Kalen Harbin, and I am the founder and creator of Rae's Flame. This business was established in 2026 with one simple goal: to build a business that allows me to create beautiful, handcrafted home fragrance products while spending precious time at home with my daughter.

Rae's Flame is named after my daughter, who has been the heart and inspiration behind this journey. Becoming a mother changed my perspective on life and inspired me to pursue something that reflects what matters most to me—family, home, comfort, and creating meaningful moments. My husband and I were married in 2022, and in 2024 we welcomed our greatest blessing, our daughter. She continues to motivate me every day to build something she can one day be proud of.

I've always believed that the little things make a house feel like home. The comforting glow of a candle, a favorite fragrance filling a room, or the feeling of walking into a warm, welcoming space can turn ordinary moments into lasting memories. That is the experience I hope every Rae's Flame product brings into your home.

What began with hand-poured soy candles has grown to include reed diffusers, with many more thoughtfully crafted products planned for the future. Every item is made with care, using quality ingredients and carefully selected fragrances, to create products that are both beautiful and long-lasting.

Originally from Hendersonville, North Carolina, I've always been drawn to the peacefulness of the lake and country lifestyle. Many of my favorite childhood memories were made while camping and spending weekends at Lake Keowee, and I always knew the Pickens area was where I wanted to build my home and raise my family. Today, those same values of simplicity, comfort, and togetherness continue to inspire every product I create.

When I'm not working on Rae's Flame, you'll usually find me spending time with my family, enjoying days on the lake, embracing country life, or relaxing with our dog. Family is at the center of everything I do, and that same love and attention are poured into every candle, diffuser, and product I make.

As Rae's Flame continues to grow, I remain committed to learning, improving, and providing products that bring warmth, comfort, and joy into the homes of my customers.
